Upon entering our office, you will recieve a quick tour after meeting our receptionist and saying hello to any staff that are available at the front desk. One difference you will notice at our office is that we will welcome you just as a member of our family. If you have not already filled out our new patient forms we will help fill them out for you ... you will hardly lift a pen!
Next, you will have a detailed consultation with one of the doctors to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. This initial visit is designed for the doctor to get to know you, investigate and learn more about your health and to gather the nessasary information to determine if you have any of the problems we have successfully treated in past practice members.
Examination
After your consultation, your doctor will perform a complete upper cervical examination including standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests. Depending on your condition and examination findings, your doctor may recommend further testing including blood tests. However, nothing will be performed in our office without your consent.
X-Ray
Because what we do is so specific, X-rays are nessasary not only to determine if you are a candidate for care but also to help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close. In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Pulling It All Together
Now it is time for your Report of Findings. Your doctor will evaluate all structural and functional examination findings to determine if our office can accept your case. If you have the problem that we have succesfully helped out thousands of others with ... we'll tell you that. If your problem requires other forms of examination or treatment performed by other providers or medical disciplines ... we'll refer you to the best provider possible.
